Since this audiobook is only 45 minutes long I decided to go ahead and listen to the whole thing today. This was new to me. I really disliked the narrator so I didn‘t enjoy this as much as the others we‘ve read but it‘s still good. I couldn‘t find anything but the audiobook. 3.5⭐️ 80 points

This was a fun read on #serialreader to get me in a holiday mood consisting of sweet little Christmas vignettes. Most of the stories were not related to Anne of Green Gables but it did include the short piece about Matthew getting Anne‘s dress with the puffed sleeves ❤️❤️

Not quite #50wordsforsnow in this collection, but if you're looking for a comforting Xmas read, you can't go wrong with this. Reading a story a day via #serialreader really improved my mood this month. Each story has a tidy, happy ending, but all of the stories are suffused with Montgomery's trademark wit, humour, & warmth. The zing of her irony keeps it from being too treacly. It was such a treat; I enjoyed it! #WinterWonderland @TrishB @Cinfhen

These are very sweet stories--almost too sweet for me. I wish I had known about this book when my kids were little, these would be so fun to read out loud the week before Christmas.

Not the book I have but one of her stories is in the lovely collection! Wonderful collection of stories from Alcott, Hans Christian Anderson, L Frank Baum, Dickens,Kenneth Grahame, Johnny Gruelle, Montgomery, Clement Clark Moore.

A sweet collection of very L.M. Montgomery-ish little Christmas stories where all is put right in the end. This was a neat one to read via Serial Reader--one story doled out each day. I enjoyed them very much!

Sweet little stories which remind me why I read so many Anne books as a child. Yes, they're predictable- everyone ends up happier, wiser, kinder and more generous than they were at the start of the story. But hey, it's Christmas, and life isn't always easy.

Our local foodbank lists sponge puddings and custard at the top of their red list this week. Sometimes the little things help.

Today's issue of this #SerialReader makes me think of Seinfeld. 😜

I'm diving into a few of Serial Reader's Christmas serials! I've added Washington Irving and Louisa May Alcott as well, but haven't started reading those yet. I've been loving Serial Reader as another way to fit more reading into the little extra corners of my life!

This is a definite #blameitonlitsy! Can't quite remember who pointed out just how much LM Montgomery was out there that I haven't read, but Thank You! I'm enjoying these. ❄️💕🎄
