pickI really liked this one! Not too off the wall.. not hard to follow.. good characters! I already put holds on volumes 2 and 3!
so-soHmmmm. The verdict is out on this series. I can‘t figure out what‘s going on! Root beer float time.
so-soWell this was frustrating. I couldn‘t figure out who was who as the drawings change so much from previous issues. I feel like to get a real grasp of these you need to own the entire series so you can look back but that‘s not how stories are supposed to work.
pickThis volume was thicker than the previous two and it was packed with action. I loved it. I need to get my hands on volume 4 but it‘s not at any of my libraries or on Hoopla. Today was such a glorious day off work and I tried to take full advantage of the beautiful weather.
Finally home and settling in with my delicious lunch and this graphic novel! Happiness is an off day!
pickOh I loved this! Packed with action and adventure. I enjoyed the characters. And I liked the artwork although you can definitely tell it was drawn by a man 🙄 l am looking forward to the next volume.

Woke up in the middle of the night and got up and smashed my foot on this pile 😭😭 Hurts so bad but reminded me I needed to read these library books.

pickI liked this one. Students find their new prep school deeply disturbing. Something is obviously wrong here. Some good action scenes. I'll check out volume 2 for sure 😊👍🏻

Morning Glories is a comic that is #setinaschool I read a couple years ago and have been meaning to go back to someday. It's been described as Runaways meets Lost and that's pretty apt (especially since, just like Lost, it starts out strong and then gets a bit convoluted as it meanders towards a finale). I still want to see how it all ends, though. #booktober
pickA group of teens are recruited for their special talents. The plot sounds like it mimics a lot of other stories. However, Morning Glories does have its own unique path. I read it one sitting and definitely want to read more. A great feeling because I was disappointed by the book I read just prior to reading Morning Glories.
Our local comic store proprietor recommended this graphic novel to me. I hope it's worth the read for #7in7readathon this week
