Anyway....Gacy has always been a killer that I've wanted to find out more about so I was excited to pick this up. I like that it covers what leads to the arrest, investigation, trial, sentencing and updates later on. I do think that this went on a bit longer than needed and a LOT of focus was on Gacy's sexual preferences and previous charges when I didn't think it needed to be.

Is this the most gimmicky title ever? Yeah, kind of. But that notwithstanding. I decided I wanted to get some background on some of the serial killers that one of my favorite podcasts reference all the time, so I started with Gacy. Tough to read, but I‘m glad I know more about it now. (My biggest gripe is that there‘s a lot of of-the-time language about gay men in this book. Sigh.)

Next up!!

I don't know why this says “watch again“. I think I have way too many people using my account, lol. Too many more serial killer “re-watches“ and Amazon might start getting concerned 😂

This book was amazing, couldn‘t put it down

If you like reading about play-by-play police procedures then this book is for you.
I wanted so much more out of this book than what it delivered. I wanted a little more insight into Gacy himself. This book was more of a fact delivering work instead of a story that is being told. It's just fact after fact after fact. And some facts that are told in the book need more information and we as the reader never get it. Sadness ☹️
