Best Cat Ever | Cleveland Amory

I had to say good bye to my sweet, goofy cat, Quince, today. He had been battling kidney disease these last few months and I made the heartbreaking decision to put him down after his condition worsened over the weekend. He was the friendliest, cuddliest cat and purred until the end. He is already missed so very much and I keep hoping that I made the right decision💔

Megabooks I am so sorry. He was such a handsome, sweet boy. I lost my dog to kidney failure last year, and I can tell you that as a veterinarian, it is always better to put a pet to sleep when faced with the end stage of kidney failure. I know no pet parent takes that decision lightly. 💜💜 3y

sarahbellum @Megabooks Thank you so much for saying that. He still looked full of life, but the test results said the exact opposite. I didn‘t want to call it too early, but I didn‘t want him to suffer either. 3y
