The end of an era. I finally updated my used and abused #mysapl library card yesterday and got a new number. I‘ve had the last one burned into my brain for the last 12 years. The new designs are really cool too.

Before joining Litsy, I maxed out at about 15 books per year. Now I‘ve already read 13 this year. My personal library has also grown, I‘m reading books that I probably never would have even discovered on my own before, and I finally got a library card after years of not having one. Litsy has worked wonders on my literary life. 😄❤️📚

Sooooo... I finally got a library card! It‘s been so long since I had one last (over ten years, I think 😱). My boyfriend and I both agreed it‘s been far too long, so we both went and got one. 😄
Of course, when I tried to get Phoenix to pose with it, he decided to try to eat it instead. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I put a piece of chicken in front of him and he won‘t touch it, but a library card, now that‘s tasty! 😂

I laughed so hard today. We ran into the library quick. I dropped off a bunch graphic novels, ran downstairs to the graphic novel section to pick up some more (20 to be exact ☺️) to keep me busy over the holidays. When I came back upstairs to check out my books, I seen they set up a display from all the books I JUST returned. For some reason, this made me immensely proud. Hahah 📚📚📚

3. I used to use it weekly but this month I've been trying to read books I already own.
4. I remember and worked at the library when I was in high school and they were making the switch from paper records to online checkouts.
5. Usually 4 or 5 from the physical library, 1 or 2 from the online library.

My sweet girl got her very own library card today. It's a big month: she's soooo close to completing 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, now has her own library card & will turn 4 in a few weeks!

Started a new job today. I love this section of the handbook. ?

I'm such a geek. Access to 60+ libraries with a suburban card isn't enough, I had to get a Chicago Public Library card too. And then I set up my account the second I got home. I'm hopeless.
