If you don't like gore then don't read, that type of stuff while reading doesn't bother me.
I have found me a new author, and am looking forward to reading or listening to more

Really liked this book thought it was a great story! My second Bauer book and I'd definitely read more.

We are (fingers crossed) moving house so had a very busy day packing and trying to bring myself to throw things away - I'm so sentimental!
So now relaxing with this - don't think it's as good as some of her other books, but still a great read. Trying to finish all my library books before moving day...!
I really enjoyed this one. Belinda Bauer kept me on tender hooks & guessing till the end. I look forward to reading more of her books.
#SeptemberDanes #roomwithaview to a book with a view to a serial killer. As I read this very good book , I‘m asking myself what is this interest ( obsession) with murder & serial killers. ?! C&P ... and all the other ones .. I can‘t get enough of it. What is this about ?? !
I‘ll think about this again , meanwhile , back to the book ....
Next up ... I need one more Belinda Bauer ... 🖤 loving the title & the cover
This book had such great potential but in the end it fell short of being phenomenal and was just Ok. I think more focus should have been on the villain; Yes we got a peek into his head and so leqrnt his motivations for killing and in such a fashion but hè still felt very much 'unknown' and I found myself really disliking the main character. Anyway, I enjoyed it but wasn't surprises or thrilled.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
This cover drew me in and I wasn‘t disappointed. Would highly recommend! These were all my holiday reads, managed 7 on holiday and an 8th on the aeroplane!
Loving this creepy thriller! Just check out the premise, guys - it‘s so strange 😭
Currently reading this beauty!!! Nearly finished 😱

And some dead ones in this.
Second book finished in two days and this one couldn't have been any more different. Couldn't put it down! Bauer had me gripped from the first page. Definitely will be reading more of her.
An easy summer read. I love books that make you feel bad for the antagonist.
The Beautiful Dead was a book I picked up on whim because I really liked the cover. I know this isn't the best basis to choose a book but I was not disappointed. What it lacks in length, it makes up for in pace. I would certainly read this again!
Today's soup-ish meal is Heidi Swanson's "Slurp-tastic Curry Herb Noodles' with yellow curry-coconut milk broth, spinach pasta, tofu & herbs. Quick, easy, delicious, & definitely slurp-tastic in my book! ?? Recipe is on the blog for #soupersundays (link below). Trying to work this thriller in before it has to back to the library this week but I'm not sure I'm going to make it in time. ? So many books!! ??? #litsycooks
Another good thriller from an author I really like. She's changed her location, previously all her books were set in small rural villages in S.E.England, this one is set in London.

Really enjoyed this despite feeling rough. The fact that it held my interest and I demolished the whole thing in an afternoon probably says it all as far as the writing goes. Be warned it's a little bit gruesome in places but would definitely recommend to anyone who likes a good serial killer story.
So it doesn't come out in the US until January 3rd, but Amazon has it for $17.43 to be delivered in 2 day shipping with Prime. I ordered it. The excitement of having it before it's official release date got to me. I'm questioning this impulse buy...what do you think Littens? 🤔🙈🤓
Finally caved at the supermarket last night and bought myself The Beautiful Dead. Such a pretty cover and have seen some great reviews. Currently trying to figure out how to remove the glue from the sale sticker (top right corner)🤔 All suggestions welcome
Loved this fast paced thriller set in London, definitely want to read more by this author.
