But being a witch doesn t magically put money in the bank. When she s hired to paint the murals for a new coffee house, it seems like a wish come true. Took the boy the Apple store to get his phone fixed. Brought a book to read in the car while I wait. And then realized I grabbed the book I just finished instead of the next one in the series. 🥺 Thank goodness for ebooks on my phone!!

One of my familiars “helping” with my teabag string. 🙂 I‘m reading this, making lemon bars, stress texting my mom and sister, and trying to ignore CNN tonight (if I hear “the road to 270 one more time...). #catsoflitsy

readordierachel For a second, I thought your kitty was about to knock the mug over (as cats are wont to do). Hope you're hanging in there 💙 4y

I enjoyed this second in the series much more than the first! Witches & cats & New England - a winning combination for me! There is some character development from the prior book, & while I had suspicions of the murderer‘s identity, the discoveries along the way kept me focused & entertained. Plus, this one goes into just a tiny bit of Portsmouth, NH history. 😁

And, this was my #DoubleSpin for Oct...I finally finished my spins on time!
