Cats like to read too I guess!
I tutor a student in the library after school every day. Sometimes I have more than one student and I have some down time, or my daughter has an after school activity and I have to wait for her. Any chance I get, I pick up this book and read a story or two. Today I finally finished. I really liked this YA "collection of feminist fantasy and science fiction stories" by various authors. Totally recommend!
A perfect read for short flights. ✈️🌴📚

This is a collection of feminist short stories written by Australian and Indian authors.
Some of the messages behind the short stories were amazing and some of the other stories kind of fell flat for me and that‘s why I am only giving a so-so rating.
Fast and easy read with great messages on the short stories.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
1- I had a good summer but the best part was adopting this cutie.
2- I‘m at work and should be working lol.
3- I‘ll read whenever.
4- no i will say hello but that‘s about it lol. #introvertproblems
5- I usually take a break from reading. I usually get into one because I want to read a certain book but don‘t have it and I don‘t want to read anything I do have. #bookbuyingbansarenofun

Great start to a new read. 🤓

Today is mine and the husbands 8 year wedding anniversary. I got these beautiful flowers and new books.
Reading to close out 2017. Ready to dive in to this "collection of feminist fantasy and science fiction stories."
Starting to assemble my spring break TBR... anyone have Must-Read Books of 2017 to recommend yet?
Yay for #bookmail! This one is completely the fault of @thegirlwiththelibrarybag and her #loveozya post.
It looked so amazing I had to order it ASAP and looks more amazing now that it is in my hands - very much looking forward to such an interesting fantasy/scifi anthology of Australian & Indian authors that are new to me!
Plus, new bookmark for the collection and gorgeous
cover 💕 WINWINWIN!
I'm doing a #LoveOzYa challenge over on Instagram so BRACE YOURSELVES for a month of some of Australia's finest! Today's challenge prompt is Coast to Coast - which fits my #currentread! A book of stories by Australian and Indian writers.
OOOOOH. While working on some YA collection development, I just came across the VERY EXCITING NEWS that this is going to be readily available in the US come March 7. ETS/DTO is a spec fic collection of short stories, comics, and one play by Australian and Indian creators, joining together to protest the rise of hate crimes committed against women in these countries. Diverse with strong female protags. I know many of you will dig this.
