She‘s so cute but so exhausting. Ivy likes to try to smother me at 3:30 at least 4 days/week. Today, I stayed awake to start this book about twin sisters.

I think when this book came out in 2006 this was something we were doing. But we are not doing this anymore. I think back in 1996 when I was reading Bridget Jones, I was ok with some of this. But in 2021 we are not doing this anymore. I mean fat shaming, slut shaming, and the changing yourself completely to find love trope. I found myself rolling my eyes a few times. It was not horrible. I am giving this two stars. ⭐ ⭐ Do not recommend. 👎

Ugh. The two MCs, twin sisters but very different, are insufferable and I‘m not caring about them or anything that‘s happening in the book, which over 100 pages in, isn‘t a whole lot.

Lovely story of twin sisters moving into their grandmother's West End flat and trying to find a way to afford the London life.

I loved both MCs, but have to admit that I liked Lizzie better. 😉

I just looked up and caught myself reading. I wasn't aware there was a mirror opposite the bed in my tiny clinic room. I'm passing the time until my blood has to be drawn.

Nearly finished with the book. Would have finished yesterday, but was too knackered.

Good Morning Littens.

My day started with a smashed bottle of sirup at 5.30am. I wanted to wipe the sirup off the floor with Ghost, who had smashed the bottle. I didn't though.

Still have a cough, my muscles are sore from all the coughing. BUT I'm going to try to get better by reading most of the day, chores can wait. 😀

Nearly finished the tagged book yesterday. So I'll pick this up right after getting something to caffeinate myself.

I'm happy I managed 2.5 books, out of the #4in48Readathon. This means 2 books off #MountTBR and two books closer to my personal goal of reading at least 12 physical copies off my shelves.

I like-hate this book. I want to slap both protagonists with the book for their stupid behaviour. Hoping for a plot twist here. They try to proof nearly every cliché there is about Essex girls. 🙈🙈🙈

Having some bubbly. This little bottle with a custom made label came from a friend. We're a group of 16 women who met online because we all had our due date in August 2005. We've been together since our pregnancy and we meet once a year as a whole group.

My afternoon was slightly tough - it's my ex's birthday, he came to pick up the kids, who made cake for him and gave him presents; they didn't do anything like that for me.
I'm proud of them 👇👇

Sunday morning, 9.30-ish in Germany.

Have been reading for a bit, the cats are outside on the balcony, the kids are sleeping in. Bliss.
