In the US, summer is bookended by two holiday weekends: Memorial Day, the last Monday in May, and Labor Day, the first Monday in September. 14 weeks.

I challenge you to read 14 books between May 26 and Sep 1, which some of you may remember fondly as #14Books14Weeks.

ChaoticMissAdventures This is perfect timing, I was doing a 25 in 25 and I am currently failing at it. This is great motivation to tackle 14 of those! 6d

Leniverse Tricky, since I'll also be doing Big Book Summer, which is about reading long books 😅 But... I can try to add some short ones too to make up the numbers. 🤔 1d

Liz_M @Leniverse Yeah, I try to read big books that don't have digital versions on my summer visit to Mom's house, with lots of backyard reading time. So I'm not entirely sure my stack is doable, but that's what the challenge part is for. 😁

Also, It's your challenge and surely some of those big books were originally published in several volumes and count as multiple books..... 1d

Leniverse I'm my own worst enemy, so if it's in one volume then it counts as one book ? Exceptions made if it's "The Collected Fiction of". But that Kristin Lavransdatter, no... Counts as one ? 1d

Kitta @sarahbarnes @Liz_M Yes! There‘s some great ones in Brooklyn. In my neighbourhood alone there‘s 3 lol. Cafe con libros, Nonbinarian bookstore and Word of mouth! There‘s also a specific ones for romance (The ripped bodice) in park slope! 1d
