This book, the whole series has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I won't spoil a thing for you but let me say: the tension towards the end got me SHOOK.
I'm so proud of myself to have conquered this book, which troubled me a lot in the beginning (the whole series did at some point) but it was totally worth and I'm now seeking new adventures! - aka finally reading Truthwitch. Nighty!

I haven't read Flame in the Mist yet and it will probably be a while until I get to read it (other books will be read first I think) but I am intrigued by the idea of the story - a Mulan retelling is exciting!

This book was so wonderfully strange! I fell in love with the cover first - because who wouldn't?! - and after getting used to Laini Taylors writing, this book was like a dream coming true (pun intended). I recommend everyone who is still considering to read it!
