I'm having an excellent reading month so far! I love being out of my reading slump! 💕📖💕
How's your reading going, everyone?!
Really enjoying this book so far! Hoping to finish it in the next couple days! Kick February off right, reading wise.
Doing some HP re-reading to keep me out of a reading slump 💕 What house are YOU in?
Well, that was a fun re-read 😂 This book brought me back to freshman year of high school. It was interesting to read this with an adult perspective. So many things I would correct if It was the editor. Anyway.. I can't decide if I'm going to re-read New Moon, or just skip ahead to Eclipse. hmmm
I really enjoyed this book! I've decided to continue with the series. I won't be diving into City of Glass right away. Going to take a break since I'm ahead of Emmmabooks' read a long schedule.
My favorite character so far is Simon.
I want to see more of Isabelle character development.
I want Clary to become a warrior.
"She didn't call you a criminal, exactly..."
"No, I'm just a very naughty boy. I do all sorts of bad things. I kick kittens. I make rude gestures at nuns."
"You might want to lie down," Magnus advised. "I find that helps when the crushing sense of horrible realization sets in."
I'm soooooo close to finishing this book! Fighting my fatigue, and wanting to get this finished tonight! 💕
---> Also, I discovered putting stickers on my pictures. HOLLA 👏
Everyone has choices to make; no one has the right to take those away from us. Not even out of love.
I reached my reading goal for City of Ashes today! Sadly, I didn't get to read my other two books because I got called into work, but I am excited to read the rest of this! Really liking the Shadowhunter World so far. Let's hope it stays that way.
Got through part one of City of Ashes! Time to take a break from reading and then pick up my second book. How's everyone else doing?!
Hello, my dear friends!
I would just like to tell you about one of my *FAVORITE* series of all time. It's severely under rated in my opinion.
It's called The Wilde Island Chronicles by Janet Lee Carey. Dragon's Keep, Dragonswood, and In Time of Dragon Moon.
It's all about how dragon blood got into the Pendragon bloodline. Please check it out!
My TBR for my Read-A-Thon tomorrow!
140 pages of City of Ashes
140 pages of Outlander
And
100 pages of Twilight!
I'm hosting a Read-A-Thon all day tomorrow if anyone is interested! Where I live we are about to get slammed with a nasty winter storm. No better time to read than during a storm!
I will be posting on here, and my Twitter @StarAsphodel !
My TBR will be the post right after this!
Started City of Ashes tonight! Looking forward to spending time with these characters! My goal is to definitely finish all of the books in this universe this year!
Decided to re-read Twilight! It's been 9 years, and I'm having so much fun 😂 I love book Bella! Read 100 pages today. Looking forward to reading more!
I enjoyed it! Gave it a 4/5 ✨ I'm not buying the ending, so I am looking forward to City of Ashes when I read it. Honestly, if City of Ashes doesn't blow me away (5✨ read), I will not continue the series. I don't have time for "just ok" reading experiences.
Yes, I decided to finally read this. Emmmabooks on YouTube is doing a year long read along for this entire series. Let's see if I can keep up. 😂
I'm four chapters in, and really enjoying it!
So, the first book I attempted to read this year was GOING VIRAL by Amy Alward. The Potion Dairies series has been one of my favorites for two years now. I waited a long time for this final book. Sadly, I DNFed it today.
Why? Because it was exactly like reading the first book. Same formula, same situations... I guessed the ending, and got it right (read the last chapter). I am so disappointed. What is one of YOUR DNF disappointments?
