Good bookstore day yesterday!
Good bookstore day yesterday!
At the bookstore on my lunch break and walked out with these. 💸📚
Loved the rich historical detail and research in this book, plus most of it centers around Oxford University's library. If you like paranormal (and forbidden) romance, all things bookish, and medieval history, you will die. I already have the next in the series!
Keep hearing really good things about this series!
Got this copy in the mail this week--I'm super curious about it. 🎩💼🔍
One of my prized #firstedition Thomas Merton books! I found this buried in a used bookstore in Oxford, Miss., for $10. I love book treasure.
Tried reading Julie Powell's Julie and Julia and gave up! My husband got this for me since I loved the movie so much. I'm so excited to start it! 🍾🍝🇫🇷
Recent used book haul--loving Real Artists Have Day Jobs! Can't wait to start the other two. 📚📖👍🏽
Amazing, thorough, and fascinating biography of the 20th century's most notorious sisters. Each sister is beautifully (and fairly) portrayed and a good addition to your library if biographies are your happy place.
A good place to start with Merton is his journals. This is a good one because it is like a mini autobiography of selected journal entries during his career as a monk. I've had this for years and always find something new every time I read it.
Really enjoying this little escape! I'm about 53 pages in and loving it. The Oxford library descriptions are heaven. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
