GUYS. Does this get better anytime soon? I‘m on chapter 2 and I‘m thinking of bailing. But I hate bailing. But I also hate wasting time on books I don‘t want to read.
Everyone should read this and own a copy. I‘m buying myself one!
Ove, to me, is absolutely Red Foreman.
...might need to re-read this one. Had to read it in high school, and it was like advanced Swahili to me.

I wish I had read this book many years earlier in my life. If you‘re an introvert, or think you may be, do yourself a favor and read this. My mother bought this when it came out in 2012-2013 (1st paperback ed.!) and knew eventually I would read it and discover its imperative relevancy.
