🕸🕸 This was pretty spooky for a kids book! Not going to lie I had to check before walking into a dark room by myself 😉 Its the no-adults-believe-what‘s-obviously-happening type of book. It could not make the children unlikable though. They are supposed to be rude and mean but all I feel is pity because of how neglectful and mean the parents are. If they were written better I would have given it a 🕸🕸🕸

🕷🕷 Not nearly as good as the other one. Both the stories and the pictures were less frightening and less memorable. I feel like they used up their good stories in the first book. At least this book was less interactive.

🦇🦇🦇 Not as scary as it used to be. The pictures no longer have me waking up in a cold sweat and running to sleep in my parents‘ bed. My interest in this book now is the folklore/tales aspect. I love the notes section of the end where it is explained where the stories come from and their variations. Recommend to read to your >10 year old to traumatize them >:^)
