Not my favorite story of the bunch, but she does have green eyes && she insists upon being photographed.

I recently watched the movie Book Club and laughed so much I figured I‘d finally try this series >.<
Nola likes to help me read— as pictured above.
this is now one of my all-time favorite reads/listens.
and i broke my habit of leaving my books unmarked!
stephen king is becoming one of my favorite authors and i‘m so grateful i gave him another glance after a hasty purview in my teens. an avid floater myself, this fear and friendship based coming of age story will be on my mind and my heart for years to come. 🎈
💘 on my way to hike with a friend & finally listening.
charmed, naturally.
well if this doesn‘t explain my whole twenties 🙃
been stewing over this bit for over a week.
Where judgment and reflexive distancing tend to dominate, Lisa Taddeo leads you into the nuances and complexities of the experiences and emotional landscapes of these women with stunning empathy.

I‘ve had my eye on this copy of Anne of Green Gables for awhile. And this edition of Wuthering Heights contains a few illustrations. I need more time.
she has changed my life so much over the last few years. I love this latest work and I think it‘s such a big deal to do our work and then show up.
Finishing up this old fave tonight. I sped through a few in this series while I was middle school and it holds up pretty well. Imaginative and funny :)
real-time reading/ listening. ✨✨
I'm in the bathtub and want for nothing.
well, an eclair sounds divine.
Whenever I reread this novel I usually stop when she gets to Thornfield. I adore the early chapters of the novel!!! But I had a purpose in this rereading so I finished it and Ohhhhhhhhh!!! The drama is enchanting.
To me, it is only secondarily a romance. But I did enjoy it this time. Jane will always be one of my most favorite, independent heroines.
After I finish my reread of Jane Eyre, I'm onto Wide Sargasso Sea. Then more Bronte Ladies!

This article is a great read. While I'm not black, I'm not really white so I ran into similar problems as a kid and certainly within academia. Though Jane is and always will be a favorite heroine, it is equally important to me that I challenge the literature that gives her life.
I love love love this novel and Thandie Newton brings such life in her rendition. I love you, Jane, alien of my heart 👽#workdaylistening
