This book May have broken me. It was so beautiful and difficult and I loved it all. I was a child in the early 80s, so the AIDS epidemic was not something I remember. I cannot imagine how hard it was to be dealing with all of that. I am so glad I read this book. And to mend my broken heart, I need a cocktail and a hug.

I have so many feelings after finishing this book. Michelle McNamara was a brilliant person. I cannot imagine the amount of energy she put into her work and I feel the pull she felt to find the truth. This book is excellent! Hands down! Read it! As a forensic scientist, I share the same passion for the truth with the author and I think the world lost an amazing investigator when she died.

If you have not read anything by Jason Reynolds, this series is a great start. It is a beautifully written story of a young man who find his place on a track team. I know I am not the intended audience, but it spoke to me in ways that I would never imagine. Jason Reynolds is a master of the written word. I listened to this on audio and the narrator, Guy Lockard, is amazing!

I honestly had no idea what this book was about but I love Dhonielle Clayton. It is an amazing adventure through a fantastical world where a special race of girls can create beauty and how being beautiful drives people to do terrible things! It was amazing! I cannot wait for the next book. Side note-the audio was great!

This book was captivating and beautiful, about the decisions people think that they have to make and set in 1950s to present day America. I thought it was just beautiful. One of the best books I have read all year.

This was a wonderful memoir which left me with a lot of feelings. I felt so much for them when they were children and was amazed by how resilient they all were.

I loved this book! I found the story to be so moving and captivating. I loved the three main characters so much! It has been a long time since I was truly sad to say goodbye to the characters when the book ended.

This book made me mad, hopeful, frustrated and compelled! I was shocked and surprised and I could not put it down. If I ever got the chance to meet Tara Westover, I would want to hug her and thank her for sharing her story!

I raced to the library to pick this awesome book up as soon as I found out that my hold was in. I had to start it right away!

I was not sure if this was a book for me since I grew up on DC comics, but it was so good. I loved how Jason Reynolds wove the story of Miles and his struggles both internal and external. He is a master storyteller in my opinion.

This graphic novel is weird and dark and mean, but also full of hope. I loved the art!

What a ride! I loved the adventure and the characters! Irene is a librarian secret agent who travels to different times and alternate worlds! Yes please! I cannot wait to read the next one in this series!

I listened to the audio which is read by Jason Reynolds and it was so incredible I listened to it again! This is such a powerful story! I remember the audio! (I am also picking up a copy at the library just to see the hard copy too!)

I wanted to love this book; 1950s Tanger, Highsmith-esce style, slow burn. It was fine. All other descriptions would be spoilers. The cover is amazing!

I just finished this book for my Adults reading YA book club and it really made me think about the freedom of speech and government control. A neat future dystopian novel where you have to pay for the words you say. A simple concept but it actually was very thought provoking and should make for a good discussion.

I listened to this on audio and it was intense! A dark dystopia that leaves you disoriented. The narrator did a great job!

This comic took me right back to my college days. Even though it was many years ago (many, many), the friendships formed in those years never change! ❤️❤️❤️

This is a true all ages comic! Goldie is so sassy and smart that you cannot stop reading to see what she will do next! I wish I had a friend a awesome as Goldie when I was 16. I cannot wait to pick up the next volume.

I really enjoyed this book. I found the story itself to be interesting and fun. I liked the characters and how their lives intertwined. And I found the adventure and romance to be well paced. A great read on a snowy spring day after sitting through day 2 of supervisors training.

I would like to recommend a graphic novel! Bingo Love is so sweet and heartwarming! Bingo also makes me think of summer so it was the perfect read as the weather was warming up. (Winter is having a hard time letting go in Virginia.)
