I don't think I'm dreaming.
What gave it away?
I ain't got the brains to make this up.
I didn't like a character as much as I like Jacob in a long long while!! #favoritecharacter

✨These little beautiful and lovely details really get me! #magical ✨
Finally, finally, finally🎉 Believe me when I say: I'm SO EXCITED! I know I'm late, there have been a ton of posts about this book already... but since I watched the movie (loved it!) I was dying to read it (although the fact that it's a screenplay discouraged me at first). But just look at the cover...😍 Wish I could start reading at work! #canigohomeplease
"Look at that," she whispered, and then after a moment: "I'd like to just get one of those pink clouds and put you in it and push you around."

I'm not quite sure why I like this quote so much. Probably because it reminds me of cotton candy?
What I read at work: magazines, magazines, magazines! For kids, for parents - everything family related 👨👩👧👦👨👧👩👩👦 #research #corporatepublishing
Pasta & Books | My two big loves🍝📚💕 Hope I can finish this one tonight! #pastaandbooks
The exhilarating ripple of her voice was a wild tonic in the rain.

First things first: after work reading session☕️📖

"Ah," she cried, "you look so cool." Their eyes met, and they stared together at each other, alone in space. With an effort she glanced down at the table.
"You always look so cool," she repeated. She had told him that she loved him, and Tom Buchanan saw.

And what is the future happy one?
A sea beneath a cloudless sun
A mighty glorious dazzling sea
Stretching into infinity.

After graduating, finding a job and a new apartment, moving to another city, starting to work and meeting a lot of new faces all in only one month I'm finally back with my books 📖 🎉 Missed my Sundays in bed with a good read - and of course Litsy! #happytobeback #JoNesbo #crimenovel
The plot was amazing and intriguing but I always felt it would have been possible to get even more out of it. The story sometimes seemed constructed and the character's emotions simple and repetitive. Nonetheless, I enjoyed reading this book. The third part was the most exciting! #christmasreads
Current situation: Snuggled up in my sheep skin next to the Christmas tree I'm reading this one and loving life ✨🎄❤️📔✨#christmas #holidays
Merry Christmas everyone!! ✨🎄✨🎅🏼✨
This is my all time favorite Christmas book. My dad used to read it to my sister and me every Christmas Eve while waiting for Santa. For me it's full of warmth and these wonderful Christmas feelings✨ #AstridLindgren #Christmas
Since I finally handed in my bachelor thesis yesterday I now have the time to read whatever I want again 🎉 These two Swedish crime stories are still on my to read list. Or should I wait for what 🎅🏼 might bring? 🤔✨#sweden #crime #HjorthRosenfeldt #JoNesbo
Broken Harbor pulled me in from the very first page. Mysteries, complicated relationships... I wanted to read this book all at once. It never got boring or predictable. Definitely a page turner and one of the best #crimenovels I've read in a while! Superbly written!

Today it's Saint Nicholas Day in Germany🎅🏼 Children place one of their boots or shoes in front of the front door the night before and the next morning it's filled with sweets and maybe a little present from Saint Nicholas.
So here is one of my favorite christmassy #childrensbooks 👴🏼🐱 It's a series about the old Pettersson and his cat Findus. It's set in Sweden and the illustrations are just too cute!
On to the next one 📚 It's a #crimenovel in #german again (OT: Broken Harbor). The cover fits the frosty weather outside perfectly❄️ #tanafrench #crime
Not my favorite Håkan Nesser but still a good one. As I mentioned before, it's not the typical crime story. It's more about the characters; their personalities, stories and development, than about the crime itself. So some might say there's too little going on. There were a lot of mysterious things happening to the main character and I was curious to find out who or what caused them. But in the end some questions remain unanswered.
🇺🇸When I looked up to that window I saw the face. It was pale, almost white, and belonged to a young man, who obviously watched us from up there. Absolutely motionless, so for a moment I thought it was a mannequin. But it was no mannequin. After 10 seconds of standing there and watching each other, he gently raised his right hand and did a very clear gesture in front of his neck. He moved it across his throat. The meaning was unequivocal. #scary
??Gruselige Vorstellung... es wird spannend!
??Free translation: "I lit the two candles on the table. Lay down and thought for a moment. Listened to the whispering sounds of the rhododendron branches on the window sill. The wind had picked up. There were no curtains in the living room. If there stood a person or animal two meters away from my house looking inside, I would never know." What a scary notion!
After reading all five GoT books in a row, I needed something very different. So my next read will be a #crimenovel by the Swede #hakannesser in #German. I've already read a few of his books and loved them! A recommendation for everyone who does not want to read a typical crime story.
I didn't want to finish this book because: When will there be the next one? I feel like the story could go on forever with so many open lines of action. Will Deanerys reach Westeros? If she does, what will happen and what role are Connington and Tyrion going to play? And what about Bran, Jon, Arya, Sansa and Sam?
Even though I'm really looking forward to learn what will happen to Deanerys, my favorite parts of the series are set in the north!
I rose too high, loved too hard, dared too much. I tried to grasp a star, overreached, and fell. #gameofthrones
"A snowflake danced upon the air. Then another. Dance with me, Jon Snow, he thought. You'll dance with me anon." | One of my favorite characters in the series next to Tyrion. Surprisingly, I found myself liking Jamie and Theon a bit more with every chapter too. #jonsnow #gameofthrones
"Her nights were lit by distant stars and the shimmer of moonlight on snow" ✨❄✨ | Finally back to the #gameofthrones. I love how every now and then you can find these almost poetic sentences in this series that create a wonderful vivid atmosphere.
University read part 2? | "There is only one Earth in the solar system, and there is nothing more beautiful. So what drives us to go beyond it?" | I'm on page 76 from 227 now and there's A LOT of just talking and sitting around. Still waiting for some action and the plot to develop. #sciencefiction #cuba
University read? | "In the end, we're not just humans, we're equals." | #sciencefiction #cuba

Perhaps it's true that things can change in a day. That a few dozen hours can affect the outcomes of whole lifetimes. [...] Little events, ordinary things, smashed and reconstituted. Imbued with new meaning. Suddenly they become the bleached bones of a story.
