I loved the whole Boyfriend Chronicle trilogy by Jaymes, but Litsy only lets me tag the first book, so I'll take advantage and recommend all three of them here: The Backup Boyfriend, The Boyfriend Mandate and The Boyfriend Makeover.

Neil Gaiman does it again, not that I had any doubt about it. This is a lovely short tale set in the context of Norse mythology, good for both kids and adults, and the illustrations by Chris Riddell make it evwn more precious.
