This continuation of my last review of Border Lords was an intensely fast read!
This continuation of my last review of Border Lords was an intensely fast read!
This whole series has gotten me sucked into the thriller genre! Also, topical because it's partially set in Southern California where I live and the occasional realities of cartel, gang and gun violence that border towns face.
Intense book called for an intense mask! Eeeeeee!
Next up for #LitsyAtoZ, decided to keep with the Edgar Allen Poe theme since he made an appearance in Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. #boutofbooks
Historical Nonfiction plus Vampire Fiction satiates all the reading needs! Obviously much better than the movie!
Never too late to join the #LitsyAtoZ ! I was actually doing this before I discovered it during the Readathon. This might be one I actually finish! Haha
19 hours in and my neighbors decided to have a late night bonfire with smoke that came directly into my room, so my allergies and antihistamines are forcing me to tap out! Good night or good morning everyone, it was an epic adventure in reading and snacking with you all today! See you tomorrow after I recover, I'm keeping it going! Haha
#readathon? More like #snackathon ! Sorry Chronicle of a Death Foretold, I've moved on to these beauties! Oh and apple pie a la mode!
My third and maybe final book for the #readathon . The caffeine has stopped working, and I'm fading even though I'm riding a book high from Parnassus.
Parnassus on Wheels was just the adventuresome tale I needed to keep me going! It was so good and inspiring!
Next stop on the #Readathon journey, Parnassus on Wheels! This might be a save for later, because five am, plus finals, plus really tiny print might a nap make! But I'm diving in!
Had to soak up too much a good read with some nachos before the book hangover sets in. After Dark was great! Mysterious, enigmatic, with just a hint of creepy. I will be revisiting it for some of that goodness in the future! Excellent start to the #readathon!
Had to take a break for my final, but I am back in the game! Probably should have read Breakfast of Champions because I had delicious PB&J toast and then aced my final! Haha. Halfway through my first @DeweysReadathon book! #readathon
Let the games begin! Well, they began over an hour and a half ago, but I am just getting around to posting. Since it was still dark at 5 am PST, this was the first pick for the #readathon ! All the excites!
Still working on Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter hoping to finish it before I tackle this stack for the #readathon ! Cannot wait for Saturday to get here already!
This book nearly broke my heart. I'm not a weeper, but I wept, so have a box of tissues handy. Also, be prepared to potentially be pissed off at the one-sided history you've learned of the war between Israel and Palestine.
