Such a pretty book! The inside is creepy, though... On page 125 and it's giving me eerie vibes!

A magical Victorian esque world full of sorcerers and monsters? Loved it! The MC is kind of bland but I do feel for her. Love the plot, love the world, it was enough for me to have a blast reading this!
Perfect description of the anxiety I feel in crowds. I don't want anyone to die of the plague though. No need to be dramatic, Henry 😋
I received a copy of this book for review, so excited to check it out! I'm a big fan of this era in music so this could be a lot of fun.

Definitely not reading this entire anthology but so very excited for THE LIGHTENING TREE.
Amazing book! I didn't know much about it when I started it but I was swept away. The magical realism, the romance, the flaws and humor that created really balanced, likable characters. Emotionally complex and adorably funny. Really great read!
This is newest to my collection of favorite literary quotes. So empowering! I have it written in my daughter's bathroom, I think it sends an important message that I hope they absorb. #24in48 #readathon #sarahjmaas
Haha, a book title that absolutely could be the title to the book about my life 😂📖 #24in48 #litsy #coffeehousepress
Amazing! I love the flawed characters and the badass moments, especially because there's so many tender moments as well. This is page-turning and heart stopping! Wish I had volume 6 handy... #24in48
This is an interesting story. Yes, it's romance. There's the cheesey insta-intense-fate love thing. There's the overly dramatic villain. There's the girl that needs saving. I hate all those things, but I still liked this book. The main characters are likable. The over arching story beyond just the romance is compelling. I liked the quotes and the art. It added more depth to what could have been a very flat story. #24in48

#24in48 I'm ready with breakfast. Snacks are important for reading, keeps the energy up. But mostly I'm here for the coffee. At all times coffee. ☕️
This is an amazing fairytale! I hesitate to even call it a retelling because it's obviously inspired by Sleeping Beauty and Snow White but is so different that it's definitely a new story all on its own. The art is gorgeous and creepy where it needs to be. I enjoyed it very much, as I knew I would! That's why I chose it to begin the Readathon this weekend. First hour of #24in48 complete and perfect!
Getting prepped for #24in48 and trying to decide on my mood... I don't have a TBR but I do have some good books on hand:
Saga vol 5 by Brian K Vaughn
Confess and November 9 by Colleen Hoover
The Giver by Lois Lowry
We Are The Ants by Shaun David Hutcherson
Rogues by George RR Martin
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
Dreamology by Lucy Keating
Decisions, Decisions!
My book club went with a YA staple this month. Never read it before! Starting it tomorrow.
Picked up this book completely as a cover buy, never even heard of it! Sure is beautiful on the outside, hoping for great things inside. Crossing fingers!
Library hold came in, can't wait to be alone with this beauty.
