This book was amazing!! I was so nervous about the Nordic noir prompt from PopSugar, but this book was perfect. It reminded me so much of Tana French. I placed a hold on the second of the series and I can‘t wait!

I had to bail! This simply did not hold my attention.
Books 3 & 4 of 2018. I really wasn‘t crazy about either one...
Unexpectedly delighted with this read. Super quick and heartwarming. Perfect for winter!
First book finished in 2018, and it was a wonderful YA read. Can‘t wait to read more from Smith.
All. The. Feels. My heart can‘t cope with the desperation I feel to help Finch. All the while knowing I can‘t. #NewYearsReadathon #mentalillness
My picks for #NewYearsReadathon - I‘m about halfway through each of these already, but I‘ve been dragging my feet. Determined to finish them!
So cute! This book was a great read. I can't wait to start recommending it to my mystery loving kiddos at work. Tabitha is so clever and just with-it for a 12 year old. I adored how she solved the nasty goings-on, and especially how things wrapped up at the end. #scasl #scstateaward #childrenslit
"Too right, Sir Penny," Tabitha said. "I adore when you bring up a Pensive maxim: 'When hope has left your side, carry on with the assumption that it simply went to fetch a quick bite to eat and will return shortly.'" She nodded to her partner. "Quite appropriate, sir." #scstateaward #scasl
I don't quite know what to say about this. French's writing is so, so good and incredibly addictive. I obsessed over it for the last five hours of the audio. However... I like closure. I know life isn't always tied up in neat packages, but none, and I mean NOT A SINGLE ONE of the various strings gets tied up. My heart is aching for Katie, for Adam, and for Rob. Ugh. #mystery
Trying to read all the #scbookaward nominees before our district read in... starting with this one. Thoughts? #childrenslit
So cute!! I loved this story. Quick read, perfect for a rainy weekend or a beach/pool read.
I swear, this is one of the best books I've read this year. So full of suspense and surprises. I'm sincerely attached to the characters and want to know what's next for them. #popsugarreadingchallenge
I have about an hour to go in this audiobook. It's phenomenal!! I love the book and it's just right amount of suspense and surprise.
I bailed. I tried, and got about 25% of the way in. Parts I enjoyed, but not enough to finish this time around. #litsybookclub @litsybookclub
I listened to the audio of this and quickly became obsessive over finishing. I don't normally read or like mystery/suspense, but I loved every minute of this. The plot certainly keeps you guessing and the rotating narrators who are occasionally unreliable are great. Definitely a pick for me. #adultlit
I'm not joking - run and check out this book. I read it in two days and loved it from start to finish. Lara and Sadie are the cutest characters and the story is just genius. #chicklit #twentiesgirl
I haven't read a comic in probably 10+ years. I enjoyed this so much. It was quick, and entertaining. A perfect bubble bath read. Onto volume 2! #marvel #mcu #guardiansofthegalaxy
@hlgreenfield tagged me in a #bookcolortag- we just relocated about a month ago and all my books are still in boxes!! However, I was able to scrounge up a few blue books. 😊 I'm tagging @readsusieread and @MrBook with the color red! Hopefully I did that right.
I'm rather fascinated by Agatha right now... #carryon #rainbowrowell

Finished this in two sittings. I loved the story. Bell does a great job of explaining how she felt and thought through her journey with hearing loss, and I think it's 100% accessible for students of any age. One of my new favorites! #eldeafo #elementarylibrarian #childrenslit
One of the hazards of my job - I'm perpetually adding to my #tbr stack. #elementarylibrarian #librarylife #yalit #childrenslit
Excited to start this! #eldeafo #newberry #newberryhonor #awardwinners
"Everytime Gat said these things, so casual and truthful, so obvious - my veins opened. My wrists split. I bled down my palms[...] I'd stagger from the table or collapse in quite shameful agony, hoping no one in the family would notice... Gat almost always saw, though [...] He wrapped my wrists in a soft white gauze and asked me questions about what happened... as if talking about something could make it better. As if wounds needed attention."
