I love this book. I read parts of it aloud to my newborn daughter and I can only hope that she is as kind as Beth, as gentle as Meg, as creative as Amy, and as adventurous as Jo. 🤍

This book was an assignment in my Master‘s program, and I‘m grateful for it. May everyone who reads it have the opportunity to discuss and mull it over with trusted peers. This book has been in my heart and brain, now is the time to heal.
This was our book stores book to movie event for the month. I‘m excited to see the film and compare!
I thoroughly enjoyed this folky tale. Looking forward to reading more from Choo soon!
Go read this book. Thank you, James McBride for your story
What more could I say that Cervantes didn‘t? I decided to read this after loving Monsignor Quixote by Graham Greene and I‘m so happy to have read both.
This was my first Baldwin but it won‘t be my last. I‘m sorry it took me so long to discover!
It‘s important to read the classics! A sci-fi must read, excited to dive into the series.
This 1993 book hit a little too close to home at times. Butler‘s book remains relevant and insightful.
At first I really didn‘t care much for the characters in Velvet was the Night but as the story progressed I found myself engrossed in this tale! A good historic fiction-ish mystery read.
I listened to this book and there are so many passages I wish I could go back and read. Everyone needs this book. Having the author narrate on the audio was an added bonus, and I have not gotten Vargas‘s story out of my head all week.
I found myself torn between wanting to race through to learn what happens to Milkman, Guitar, Hagar, and Pilate and slowing down to soak in every word Toni Morrison had to say. Such as it always is with her! I‘m just thankful to have lived on the same timeline as Morrison, thank you for sharing your gift.
“It‘s fiction! Fiction is the great lie that tells the truth about how the world lives!”
A thought provoking book that provides a glimpse into the life of a mom and how she survives. We need more books just like this.
“You pierce my soul.” I had the ending spoiled for me before I sat down with this book so I knew that somehow Miss Elliot and Captain Wentworth ended up together. That only made this book better. I felt like I was sitting down with old friends catching up on how they came to be together. Austen does it again. 10/10
This book is incredible. Beautiful story of family both past and present. Being from Colorado made this one all the more special!
Anaya‘s book had me thinking about faith and family and what does it mean to be a part of something bigger than yourself.
I had a hard time falling in love with Fanny Price especially after reading about Eliza and Emma but I did come around to Ms. Price and her other worldly goodness-even I had fallen for Henry Crawford!
Man, I can‘t stop listening to Fleetwood Mac and dreaming of this group. A unique way to write a book and I was hooked from the very beginning.
How have I lived this long without Jane Austen in my life? Another delightful read.
I will be reading more of Amor Towles in the near future. I enjoyed escaping away to the enduring and clever life of Count Alexander
I feel as if I have been checked into the Overlook Hotel the past week. And much like the Torrence family, I could not escape this terrifying book. So scary and so well done.
Thank you Brandi for your story and your advice. I love your songs and their honesty, I cry every time I see you live and this book was impossible to put down.
Dystopian novels can have a similar feeling to them but Dimaline takes a new approach. An interesting story line with a warning for present day readers. Highly recommend!
I‘m looking forward to more Maisie Dobbs adventures. Part mystery, part historical fiction, this book was a great get away!
I had to read this book for a Sociology class and I am so glad I did. Anyone interested in human nature and the state of American democracy should pick this book up.
I absolutely delighted in reading this book. Fantastic from beginning to end, I can‘t wait to read all of Austen.
I loved this memoir/love letter to New Orleans. This book did more to open my eyes to the injustices before and after Hurricane Katrina than any other I‘ve read.
I did not know writing until I read Toni Morrison for the first time. Ms. Morrison encouraged all of us to read and learn from her books and while I‘m just beginning to discover the talent and the power of Ms. Morrison I am haunted and enchanted by her characters and their lives.
A perfectly easy summer read. I love novels and their ability to suck you in. This one did just that!
This book sat on my chest and clouded my days. I had a hard time leaving the world Ms. Atwood created once I put the book down. Everyone should read this haunted and depressing book. Mayday
Life is too short to read books you can‘t get in to. I tried with this book, like 150 pages of trying, but dang..I bailed and I never bail on books! Not for me.
This book made the list of the most banned in schools last year. Any book being banned is a tragedy and this one is no exception. It‘s smart, funny, and courageous. It‘s a YA that forces some pretty heavy thinking all while making you giggle. A must read!
Take an hour out of your day to read this collection of mantas, poems, and inspiration. And always remain hopeful.
Sometimes you should read books that make you uncomfortable and this one definitely fits the bill.
“and worry is worn like a knit sweater in summer” three beautiful (long) sentences and absolutely brilliant art. Breathe in this incredible book.
I read this book after a colleague of mine had her class read it in U.S. History. Written for a young audience and so much history in 240 pages, left me wanting more, which is the point! I can see my middle school niece loving it.
I loved this book and I‘m having a hard time putting into words exactly why. It‘s beautiful, contemplative, and seems to be from another time. Sit down (with a dictionary) and soak up this incredible tale.
“We only pass this way once.” Lewis gives advice and wisdom on topics ranging from faith to environmentalism. This book is his last thoughts to a generation that will carry on his legacy. “Be patient. Be hopeful. Be humble. Be bold. Be Better. Keep the faith. Carry on.” Here‘s to good trouble, Mr. Lewis.
Incredible. Everyone should read this book about finding joy in life and all of its uncertainties. Absolutely loved it.
