The prequel to the Hunger Games, been on the TBR for a long time and being that the movie is coming out later this year thought I‘d give it a go. The odds are against Snow and the tribute he is mentoring in the tenth games, how does Snow go from being an 18 year old preparing his shot at glory and fame to a ruthless tyrant as President Snow!

I now have the Aurora Chaser Bug that‘s for sure.

I enjoyed this book & the different personalities of each character. It shows the lengths that family will go to keep a secret, protect or provide for each other. Whilst the love of some doesn‘t always feel obvious, scratch the surface and you‘ll soon realise it‘s been there all along, just maybe your perception has been skewed.

Whilst I enjoy this book every time I read it, it‘s probably my least favourite out of the series but I can‘t put a finger on why? It still takes me away into the Wizarding World as do the other books, I would still recommend reading it but there is just something about it!

Scochrane26 I think there‘s a lot of people who say that either the 2nd or 5th Book is their least favorite. This one has so many clues that are used in the last couple of books. I love all the books, but I can‘t pinpoint what it is about this one either. 5y
nanuska_153 I think it might be because it is a transition book, the first one is proper children's book (and the one who started it all) and the third one with the dementors is the first dark bool of the series. The chamber of secrets kind of falls in the middle, a bit darker than the first one, but not yet there. 5y
