I‘m a Kent Krueger fan, both for the characters and for the northern MN and Boundary Waters references to keep the environment and our connection to it alive. Also the current issues of mining and other environmentally harmful current topics. This book was one of the better ones in the Cork O‘Connor series.

This book is based on a true story. It‘s a quick read that you will love. Good, but very sad, story of greed and stealing babies for too long.

Current read...stay tuned for full review. I‘m enjoying it thus far and I‘ve already learned 2 new words (in a Good way not in that annoying way where you have to look up every other word in the dictionary).

I love the Louise Penny - Armand Gamache series. Great character development and such fun characters, despite the fact the books are about a murder! This series is also wonderful to listen to with the French names, great narrator. If you like mystery/crime series, this is a must read! I would recommend reading them in order.
