Pickpick

Brian Robeson is on a plane to visit his father, when all of a sudden the pilot stops responding. And Brian is forced to fly a Cessna plane for hours until it runs out of gas. What will happen when it does run out of gas? He does not know. But he does know that he is stuck in the middle of the Canadian wilderness with nothing but a hatchet at his side, and the clothes he is currently wearing.

MrsBabki Great job! A classic! 5y

Christopher Rowe once again finds himself in trouble. This time the Black Death also known as the bubonic plague returns to London. When a so called prophet shows up that can magically heal people Christopher is already suspicious. Recommended for people that like suspense, magic, and London. I would say the tone is that your friends are the most important people you have. The pacing is pretty evenly spaced but the climax is close to the end

MissYaremcio Great review! Thank you Hayden for getting this in! 5y
MrsBabki I loved this series. I‘m glad I went outside what I usually read. You might like This Dark Endeavor. Maybe it is on Sora? 5y

When a cult of murderers go around London a boy named Christopher Rowe and his master find themselves in a dangerous place. And when Christopher finds something that could end the world he doesn‘t know who his allies are... I would say that the tone is dark but your friends are always there. If you like magic and suspense this is for you.

DrexEdit I like magic, suspense, AND London. Stacked! 😊 5y

Mehso-so

In the big picture the book was good. The reason I rated it So-So was because it took a while to really get good. Just took a little longer to get going and I almost bailed out on it.

MrsBabki Way to persevere! 5y
