I cannot say enough about this series!! Its rich descriptive world with history, political intrigue, drama, romance and love all rolled into one.

Its a series that I am sure if I re-read it, I will get so much more from it the second time around.

This is such a difficult read and one I dont normally pick up.

It dosent mean that I dont like it, the writing is great, the world is so vivid even though it is a novella.

I dont know how many times I have thought about putting it down because of the content...

Sick day at home turning into a sick night of reading with a lemsip in my hand. 🤧 At least the book has gripped me from the start.

Whilst not the most scary, it kept me reading. Definately a good break from the fantasy I have been reading.

I got this from the library not knowing what I was going to think of it as I tend not to read a lot of middle grade.

Turns out I have nearly finished it in one day!!

This book is whimsical and fun. Definately one to pick up if you want a quick, fun read.

This ripped my heart apart. I have always loved Shakespeare, and with it twisted into the mystery of these friends that are thrust together in the school it made for a gripping read.

This was so-so. A fast paced read after the halfway point but not Mr Kings best work.

Whilst the writing was just as amazing as the first in the series, I could not seem to get into it. It could be that it arrived for me at the library when I wanted to read another book. It could be that I just didn't want to read about the particular enemy this time.
I have a feeling I will pick this up again.
