Thank you @Eggs for the tag
1.) Neither ... working. Is there a pattern here? 🤔 2.) Black cats - one of ours fits the bill purrrrfectly! 😉 3.) Scary movie - that‘s our favorite kind! 4.) I tag: @rather_be_reading @RavensCarm @glitterkitty459 @Lel2403 and @JessClark78 BONUS) The Turn Of The Screw wasn‘t *scary,* but it inspired so many derivations - that‘s cool. “Wide Sargasso Sea” always kind of weirded me out? 🤷🏻♀️
Finished. Sigh. I was so hopeful because the middle was pretty engaging, but then ... the ending. [Insert big raspberry noise.] Oh well. Next.
Yesterday: feeling “ehhh” about the book.
Since then: pacing and storyline have picked up nicely. I may finish the last few pages *sans* treadmill (shocker)!
Correctly guessed one big reveal ... but it took longer to guess one thing here than it took to figure out ... *everything* in The Woman In The Window (apologies, Mr. Finn).
OTOH: haven‘t put a sincere effort into spoiling things for myself.
After these two, my brain wants “literature.” 😳
Just started this.
Started: Saturday, October 13th, 2018
Finished: Wednesday, October 17th, 2018
Entertaining, but so easy.
The “how” and “why” were the only things you were reading for, since the “who” and “what” were obvious.
I am curious to see how they make it into a movie though....
1.) ...technically not one I TOOK; 12th on my roll: next hair color ideas 🤗 2.) The Woman In The Window, AJ Finn 3.) WORK; see my husband? 🤷🏻♀️ 4.) A pen 5.) “But it's too late to say you're sorry How would I know, why should I care?
Please don't bother trying to find her”
An add-on for my Book of the Month. My second day reading it on the treadmill (yes, that‘s where I do all my reading) and I am sure I know what the “huge twist” is. I thought I knew yesterday, within the first 20 pages (thanks, dust jacket clue!), and now it‘s obvious. That‘s what I get for taking screenwriting in college. Sigh. Still, it‘s engaging.
