My boyfriend and I drove up to a little mountain town to go skiing/snowboarding 🎿 only to find out the hill closed for the season 2 days ago! 😫😂. So we had breakfast and walked around this adorable town and I got these two books for 50 cents! Silver lining that‘s for sure! ⛅️

I LOVED this book. It has everything I love in books; dark humour, bit of horror, love, and great writing. The end made me bawl my eyes out on a plane coming home from a trip, it also made me laugh out loud. Highly recommend.

First King read of 2018! Mr. Mercedes was a bit different than his usual work, no supernatural stuff. The characters were pretty flat which is disappointing as he‘s usually; well, the King of character development. But I‘m a die hard Constant Reader so I did enjoy it. Wouldn‘t recommend unless you are a huge fan though.
