My favorite book I've read so far this year. The Nightingale is a beautiful and poignant glimpse into World War II France during the German occupation and the every day courage of those who remained on the home front.

Jaclynxanne @Amwilliams4695 yes !!!! I‘ve all of her books except her earliest two (which I finally found off amazon for decently cheap) I recommend all of them! But firefly lane, magic hour, and night road are my three favorites 7y
