Even though I struggled with the style of Where the Hell is Tesla, I‘m still a fan. I‘m into the third story in this collection and enjoying them. And I do love to hear his narration.

Maybe I‘m still not ready for more unreliable narrators yet. Still enjoyed the writing style and most of the characters but I disliked the final twist.
Time for one of the free Audible originals for December.
Heavy on speculation and meaningless, random details and light on facts. And, oh man, the audiobook narration is pretty bad. The author speaks soooooo slllooooowly.
Read this many years ago and it was one of my faves. Now I‘m listening to the audiobook after my 14 year-old son told me he‘s reading it now. His second King book.
Read this many, many years ago as a teen. Decided to give into the latest urge to read it again.
Loved it. Not preachy and not a romance. A dark, gritty eco-thriller with a kick-ass protagonist. Definitely Prescott‘s best book yet.
I love, love, LOVE this cover. Will start this one tomorrow. So looking forward to it!
Going under untitled until the book is added to Litsy. Just over a quarter of the way through and enjoying it. Feels a bit like All That Matters, which I love, so I‘m a happy camper at the moment.
Was into it and enjoying until about chapter 56. Then it went downhill for me. The end ruined it. No spoilers but the technique is one of my least favorite ways for an author to wrap up a book.
I know I‘m in the minority but I hated this book. It was obviously well-researched but, after a while, it felt more like misery-porn. Yes, the treatment of inmates and the politics and cultural aspects involved were important but there were so many stories that were similar enough that the point had been made over and over and over. I finally stopped at about 80% after reading about a mutilated dog being operated on without anesthesia.
Thoroughly enjoyed! Great art and writing. I LOL‘d several times and definitely want a hard copy for the bookshelf. Thanks to Image Comics and Edelweiss for the ARC.
When there‘s just not enough time in the day to read with the eyes. Thanks Voice Dream and a nice selection of downloadable voices!
Grabbing some coffee and getting back to Binti. Loving this intense short. Already have the next one ready to go.
I'm in the minority but I was disappointed. Too superficial and disjointed. I found Caroline to be very unlikable.
