4/5🚨. I liked the continuation to the story. It was a great and fun book 📖. Would highly recommend. I am an Iowa native but was given the opportunity to be in lovely Colorado for the weekend. Beautiful views for fun pages 🤡

4/5⭐️. This was a wonderfully refreshing tale after the two previous books that I read. Fun western type adventure in an alternate history where hippos were integrated into the US wilderness. Based a an actual bill proposed to Congress, Gailey images a world in which this bill passed. There is a great article out there that refers to the hippos as "lake bacon ? "
Fun read. Would recommend. And I ordered the sequel last night.
2.5/5⭐️. Boringness
Beautiful writing and descriptions. But it was a drag.
Two slugs 🐌 in a row. Hope the next one is better
3/5⭐️. Opening was good. And dragged and dragged and dragged.........til almost the end. The end was unsatisfying. Meh.
4/5⭐️. Very readable and entertaining. I thought there could have been a few less storylines. I felt like there was a lot Of diverging characters but we were only getting the surface view of them. With more focus the characters of the Richardson family my have resonated more.
Oh it is gonna happen (in my best Gabriel Iglesias voice) 👍😁
Just started the second narnia book with my 7 year old daughter. Well second by our standards. My four year old requested we start the first Harry Potter book. My children have great taste. Oh and my cute bookmark that came in the mail today 😁📚👍🎉🤡
3.5/5⭐️. I liked the idea and the story line, but I felt there should have been more. I wanted to know about the families back story. I would read another book related to the Ribkins.
5/5⭐️. Not a book for the weak at heart. One of my favorites for 2017.
3.5 mile run ?? in ✅
? then homework ? and the maybe I can finish My absolute darling.
While reading last night I had the scene from 1990 version of "it" running through my head. The scene where Beverly Marsh's dad says " I am worry Bevie, I worry a lot. " creepy
3/5⭐️
Meh. It was okay. I didn't feel the character Eugenia. I couldn't like or dislike her. I feel the disconnection with the main character was the reason for the lower rating.
Best way to spend the evening. Me, book, and vodka/OJ/grenadine. And my dogs 🐶
3.5 ⭐️. Love Tom Perotta. Election is one of my favorite movies and one of my favorite books. I liked this one but I didn't completely love it. Excellent view from an empty nesters point of view. I liked the end but once again there was something lovable missing. Not sure what it is. If anyone else has read the book I would be interested in your opinion
The moment you have found your soul mate and he doesn't mind reminiscing about cheesy movies in a new age sort of way
5/5⭐️.
I am both Catholic and of Irish decent and this book was eye opening. It was appalling, beautiful, and raw all at the same time. Stayed up until 2 am reading. If you haven't read this book yet you need to 🚀
5/5🐷
The satire of this story was as true then as it is now.
I had to take a short break from Small Hours so I could do my tandem read with my 12 year old son. Next up for our tandem read is Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Back to small hours 😁🤗
I got sucked in right away with this couple and there daughters. I have read reviews that the ending is a disappointment. Not sure how I feel about that.
Help I need to buy books and I don't know where to go 😫😫😫
Working through a long day of shopping, packing, and purging in our house. Time for some quiet time and this wonderful dystopian novel. I feel like the dystopian novels are the trend of the week. 😁👽🤡
Meh 3/5⭐️
Quick read.
I was bored by the middle. Dystopian based novels really need a good niche. This had that since it was from the Amish perspective. I just didn't care for the book.
Wowed!!!!
5/5 ⭐️. This story of Patroclus and Achilles is classically lovely. War could not part them, now could Achilles pride. Another great Bailey's book pick. I may need a day to digest.
I am wanting to start a blog for reading. I was hoping my Litsy friends would help. I have added a few people to my good reads account and I would like to add more. If you can add me or provide me with a link to yours I would appreciate it. Thanks
My entertainment while supper is cooking 🍳
@Liberty #BIRTHDAYSPACE.
Birthdays in July are wonderful. Especially if it means more books.
This is a current tandem read with my 12 year old, Griffin.
3/5⭐️
My first Murakami. Not really sure it ended the way I wanted it to. I wanted more closer. I will have to find a different one of his to try in the future.
3.5/5 ⭐️. I enjoyed this book. I was a little overwhelmed by the names and references that were not in English. I am a stickler for pronouncing things correctly, so I was troubled by the fact that I knew I was not saying the names correctly.
Currently doing a tandem read of this book with my son, Griffin who will be 13 in a few months. It was interesting to have our first discussion last night. I feel that the further into the book we get, the more interesting our discussions be. And random pictures of my 🐶

4/5⭐️. This book was better then I had expected. I love the story line, the sorrow, the love, and the hate that yejedi feels for akin. Would highly recommend.
4/5⭐️. Good thriller. Good twists and turns. Very captivating. Very thought provoking at the end. Would be interested in hearing anyone's theories about the final intent of the mine character. Would highly recommend 👍🤗
5/5⭐️. Cultural that I knew very little about in lyrical prose, that took me to tears. Amazing.
5/5⭐️. WWII from the point of view of the Germans. Katharina marries Peter so he can come home on marriage leave and he can have his pension if she were to die at war. It is heartbreaking to watch as both of them struggle with the conditions that they are reduced to. I don't cry often while reading but I did with this book. Add to your stacks. Amazing 😍
I can't believe I am the first one to post about this book. 75 pages in and I am invested in the characters and the writing style is smooth even over the more shocking parts.
So true 😁🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷
5/5⭐️. It rocked my socks off 😁
4/5⭐️. The ending was predictable but I loved the messages the story conveyed regarding sexuality, love, and the different forms that relationships can take. I liked the formatting of the story and the ease of transitions. Would recommend.
4/5⭐️. Good historical read for anyone interested in the family that was usurped by the Tutors.
Picture of the author
4/5 ⭐️. Love this time period and the history that goes along with the Tutor dynasty. Alison Weir is a wonderful author.
3.5/5⭐️. Great coming of age memoir by the writer through the intense family history of her mother and grandmother. The writer intertwines her life with that of her matriarchal figures searching for her identity. I struggled at times feeling like she was on the threshold of something profound and then it was left open. Maybe it is metaphorical for life or she just hasn't reached that point. Would recommend
5/5⭐️ I am not a huge reader of short story collections but this one was absolutely wonderful and amazing. Highly recommend
Great movie😁🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sorry had to share. I know it's not a book 📚
But it was awesome sauce
3/5⭐️. A little better then the first one. But I felt like I already knew what the climax was going to intel. It was entertaining which was what I had expected from the series. I will likely read the next one when it comes out next year
4/5⭐️. I liked this one better then the first books. I enjoyed the characters and the direction the story went and the cliff hanger at the end. However, I can also how some of the reviews were negative based on the continued report style of the book. I can't wait for the third one ☝️🤡👾📚🙈🐒👻

2/5⭐️. Uck. I found this book pretentious. I didn't like any of the characters, except the federal agent, and even that was a stretch. I did not need sexual innuendos in every chapter, "golden showers?" Really? I have checked out the sequel and I may attempt but we will see. The spiders would have made a great story, minus all the characters in the book
