The amount of debt they've accrued is unfathomable to me, yet they go on drinking, gambling, and partying! Though I seem to recall my rowdier days in college where I could get by on a night of partying with just a few bucks. #shhh 🤫1y

eeclayton@Cuilin@mcctrish I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to dislike Amelia. I kind of feel sorry for her, but can't really empathize with her. It's interesting how useless she is as George's wife even though she's been raised to fill that role.1y

TheAromaofBooksI've definitely developed a soft spot for Rawden. I love that he seems completely aware of the fact that his wife is kind of a terrible person but he just admires the heck out of her smarts 😂1y
eeclayton@Cuilin@mcctrish that's a great point, but also, she has zero coping strategies. All her life, everything has been mapped out for her, to the point of who to fall in love with. She could've had a nice life if everything had gone according to plan, but she hasn't been prepared to deal with unexpected situations.1y
