Ok, I'm 5 days late on this one!! But that's kind of the story of my life...anyhoo, I'm tagging my favorite 2016 Book in this stack. It's not popular, but damn #WatchingEdie is the best damn psychological thriller I've EVER read- & as that's my favorite genre & im trained in readers advisory- trust me on that!

Now, it's #titlewithapropername #ReadJanuary

amywithbooks I loooooved Defending Jacob. What a page turner! 8y
MyNamesParadise @avgeyer I'm surprised Defending Jacob hasn't been turned into a film! I loved that book as well!! 8y

I know it's ambitious, but I want to get through at least one of these books which have a #titlewithapropername (sips tea, properly) this year! #ReadJanuary @RealLifeReading

Books_Wine_Repeat You should try the audiobook version. I have both on hold with OverDrive. The ebook would probably just put me to sleep. 8y
jmtrivera @Books_Wine_Repeat I tend to have a hard time with audiobooks unless I've read the story before - though I'm familiar with the plot Don Quixote, so maybe I'd do okay? 8y
jmtrivera Or maybe I could use @LauraBeth's translations to help me! 😁 8y

saresmoore I just learned about Folio Society via Litsy. (Fortunately it was after I'd committed to a book buying ban.) These are gorgeous! 8y
PurpleyPumpkin @LeahBergen @RealLifeReading @rubyslippersreads @HardcoverHearts @DrexEdit @saresmoore I just love all of their editions. I have never been disappointed. They're all works of art!💜 8y
PurpleyPumpkin @ScorpioBookDreams I saw your lovely purchases the other day! I recommend anything by FS as all of their volumes are beautiful. It's nice that you no longer have to be a member in order to buy their books. Now, I try to take full advantage of their great sales!😉 8y

#readJanuary #titlewithapropername Lots of proper names. 😊 I told my online book club that I love Mark Twain, and a member whom I've never met sent me this, and a Poe collection, and Grimm's fairy tales that all match. I love #kindness and #generosity! They're some of my prettiest covers.

LeahBergen That's beautiful! 8y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa That's beautiful (and so is the book)! What a wonderful random act of kindness! 8y
obviateit Thank you, @LeahBergen @Riveted_Reader_Melissa ! I'm honored to have been the recipient. I definitely want to pay it forward somehow! 8y

#readjanuary #day8 #titlewithapropername Catching up on this months photo challenge, these are a few of my books with people's names in the title. A lot of classics, I've found, use names a lot. Like Emma, Jane Eyre & Anne of Green Gables. Then you have biographies & memoirs like this one about Queen Elizabeth II and a few fiction books too like Coraline & The Last Adventure Of Constance Verity. There's quite a few out there if you're looking.

sisilia That copy of Jane Eyre looks good! 8y

#TitleWithAProperName A story of a moral decline and sick ambition. Boris Romanov helps people with their stunted emotions while he himself is in dire need of help. The whirlwind of abuse, dark urges and emotional deadlock ends tragically.
