pickSometimes, when I finish a good book like #TheProphets but still feel like something was missing, I move on to a book with a similar topic. This time, the second book was #Homecoming, a book that has waited on my TBR for at least two years.
I liked the idea of the two sisters and I was impressed by how well the seventh generation idea went, but in the 2nd half it all moved a bit too quick.

pickThis Book will probably end up on a lot of “Best Books of 2021” lists in 11 months, and they would be right. It‘s brutal and devastating and a couple of chapters are very poetically written.
