There are twists, some insights in to politics of undercover operations, politics in general and sheer brutal violence at times all set in the UK. In my opinion a more modern day cross between Robert Ludlum and Le Carre. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Holy freaking moly! Everytime I thought I figured out what happened to the girls there was another twist in the story - until the very last page. Everyone seemed to be a suspect at least once throughout the book. Excellent book.

I liked The Immortalists (I‘ve seen a few negative reviews), and these other three books too! The House on Half Moon Street and Jane Seymour: The Haunted Queen were more #ThePigeonhole books, and I read The Picture of Dorian Gray because it has been on my bookshelf forever, and it was just time! All ‘Picks‘ for me!!

This isn‘t in the Litsy database (yet!!), but I thought I‘d share it. It comes out on 8th May, and if you like your books a bit scary with lots of tension and build up, then you might just like this! The Moor by Sam Haysom was read on #ThePigeonhole (I‘m reading a lot of books on this app - it‘s fantastic!!).

Obviously this isn‘t Wilkie Collins, but it isn‘t listed on Litsy yet! Another great choice on #ThePigeonhole. I thought it was going to be Urban Fantasy, but it isn‘t. It‘s a thriller, fast moving, very exciting! I would‘ve read it all in one sitting if I‘d had the book, but it certainly added to the tension by getting a ‘stave‘ every day. If you haven‘t tried The Pigeonhole, I‘d say it‘s worth a go!!

I can‘t find these books on here at all, they‘ve only just been released. Two more books from #ThePigeonhole social reading platform. They seem to be very good at choosing good books! The Pumilio Child set in the Renaissance, slavery involved, and Love Bites is a collection of short stories about immigrants, misfits and the lonely. Both really good reads!
