It sat on my shelf for two years, but I'm finally diving in to #TheBookofDust! I am a huge #PhilipPullman fan so my expectations are fairly high.
P.S. I just re-read #AWrinkleinTime and...meh. I barely remembered it from 8th grade so I wanted to revisit it, as I know it is loved by many. I didn't hate it, but I expected more. I wanted certain ideas to be better fleshed out, and for it to be more climactic. I'll stick with #Pullman and #Rowling.

Friday night read. 📖✨🛶
I am really enjoying this book so far; it‘s such a treat to return to the world of #HisDarkMaterials. (I found out today that book two of #TheBookofDust trilogy will take place ten years after the original series and follows a 20 year old Lyra. I can‘t wait!!! Which is absurd because I‘m barely a third into this one and I‘m already thinking about the sequel 😂)

pickA little bit slow off the mark but once it got going this was a great book. I have always loved Pullman's Oxford and the people he shapes. This is an interesting start to The Book Of Dust trilogy and I can't wait for the next instalment with a bit more Lord Asriel please.

March was an excellent reading month! My favorites were Crooked Kingdom and The Book of Dust, both ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️; and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the adventures of Charlotte Holmes and Jamie Watson! Overall not a bad book in the bunch📚

I liked the magic and the friendships, La Belle Sauvage, the atmospheric writing and well I can‘t wait for how the story continues.
