A Christmas Memory was the shining star in this collection of three lovely holiday stories. Definitely my new favorite Christmas tale to revisit in future years. Based on Capote‘s childhood experiences in rural Alabama — particularly his relationship as a boy with his elderly cousin and best friend — the stories are funny, touching, and so delightful.

Chrissyreadit @Avanders my irony… with everything going on i forgot to register my car- and something popped while i was driving my moms car- and it needs a new engine. sometimes i just need to know its almost time to open a fun swap package as an excellent diversion from real life. and reread fourth wing and iron flame for 10th time 🤣 2w

1. When the kids were small, they would get into their pjs and we would drive around the suburb with the coolest lights. Now that they‘re in their 30s they probably wouldn‘t want to go!

#TopReads2024 continues with my November pick 🦃🍗🎃🥧🥔🍞🥖🥕🌽🍏🍐🍄‍🟫🧅🧄🫛🍠🇺🇸🏈🍂🍁 “We Gather Together” by Denise Kiernan. This was such a great book to read during the Thanksgiving season, I loved it. Her other books are amazing too, definitely check out her backlist 👍
