pickI actually enjoyed this book. I was a little hesitant because I don't do well with gore. Yes, there were some graphic scenes about rape, drugs, and abuse but it did not deter me away from the story. I really wanted to know how the sisters were going to get away from the bad guy that I kept listening until the very end.

pickI enjoyed our #Scarathlon #TeamSlaughter #TeamBook. It was a cute cozy mystery with yummy cookie recipes. I listened on audio, but think that I might actually have preferred to read it, as the voices the narrator used didn‘t mesh well with my mental image of the characters.

pickYay! I finished the #teambook! The Holiday Swap was cute and had me hooked, but there were some parts that irritated me (i.e. Why didn't they reveal the truth sooner? You do realize that not all Angelenos have surfing equipment?...) However, I still enjoy reading the mischief these sisters got themselves into. 3.5⭐

pickThis was an enjoyable read. May keeps repeating Christmas week until she gets it right. She initially thinks that means not getting wasted and smooching with childhood friend Theo but after returning a time or two more, she realizes the universe expects more from her. The love interest is a lot too perfect. I guess that‘s to be expected from a holiday feel-good book.

pickI thought this was a fun read. I enjoyed how the stories connected to one another. I know many of the #WGWordSearch words were in it, but reading physical book - when I finish I scan for words but don't catch many - if only there were a program for word occurrence counting for physical books 😂!
