By has good as The Night Swim, but another entertaining murder mystery featuring a true crime podcaster. This time she finds herself entangled in the disappearance of a van life influencer and her connection to a convict. The journey through the mystery is fun, though I guessed the ending fairly early. I definitely recommend this one on audiobook. 4⭐️

An absolutely heartbreaking and beautifully written story about a near future catastrophic event that sends humanity into space the find a new world. Our main character is a lover of stories her grandmother tells her and dreams to continue the story telling tradition. This poses some deep questions and ideas for a middle grade, or young YA sci-fi novel. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a great story. 5⭐️⬇️

Cute, but a little dumb. A witchy rom com with a bit of steam. It was a nice break between the horror reads. I do recommend the audiobook though, great narration. 3.25⭐️

The ultimate in grotesque body horror that inspired Clive Barker‘s Hellraiser movie series. Well written and truly horrifying, a must read for horror fans. 5⭐️

I am not really a cozy mystery reader, but this popped up recommended on Hoopla and looked cute. I also needed something light to break up all the dark books I‘m reading this month. This was solid! It has more depth and a bit of past trauma than is typical in cozies. I enjoyed our family of witches and some of the side characters. I don‘t know if I‘ll run out to read the sequel asap, but I may pick it at some point. 4⭐️⬇️

A very dark revenge drama heavily influenced by some classic teen films - Heathers and Mean Girls especially. A girl and her best friends plot revenge against a group of boys who assaulted the main character. I can‘t say I loved this book. It is a bit too long and there is some loose threads in the plot. However, I was engaged and would recommend to fans of revenge thrillers and Heathers. 3.5⭐️

This is a weird story, that is a bit of a mess, but I think I liked it? A group of friends get together for a girls weekend to catch up as they now live far apart. Additionally, a friend who disappeared two years ago has recently returned and they are both concerned and happy to have her come along. There are about 3 different plots going on here, but the friend relationships are very well written.⬇️
