It's nice to read a YA that doesn't focus on romance, just friendship through hard times. This quick read was the perfect book to end my summer break. It's about life after loss and the friendships and family relationships that help one young girl get through it. All set in the midst of a summer Shakespearean festival. I loved it! #summerreading2017

Daisey Nice review! I've seen this title but really knew nothing about it. 7y

Finished up book four for #24in48 - it was super cute! Now I'm going to spend the rest of the readathon listening to the audio of The Chilbury Ladies Choir. Getting closer to finishing!

Book number two for #24in48! This book was a great start to the #agathachristieclub 👍🏻 I just love Poirot! Thought I had it figured out but....nope!

I'm tired but am going to try and get two more hours in 😬

Book one completed for #24in48. This book just didn't do it for me. If I wasn't reading it for #litsybookclub I probably would have bailed. Some stories held my interest, but most either confused or bored me. I do look forward to our discussion tomorrow so I can see what @Graciouswarriorprincess @SoniaC @tpixie and other members of @litsybookclub think! Our live discussion will be at 5pm ET tomorrow if you want to join us!

Bookworm83 @SoniaC Absolutley no judgement at all! As long as you don't judge me for having a lot of the stories go right over my head 😂😂 I'm excited to hear your thoughts. You'll have to explain some things to me! 7y
tpixie @SoniaC lol 😂 7y
SoniaC @Bookworm83 lol I'm not claiming to fully understand it all. Just to enjoy a bizarre little short story that leaves me thing WTF 😂 7y

I knew going into the one it wasn't going to be a happy read, but I had no idea the extent to which these brave women suffered. A harrowing and haunting book that will stay with me for a long time. Now off to brunch to discuss this one with @bookishgirl78 and @readingmommy 📚📚📚

I loved everything about this book....the eccentric characters and their complex relationships with each other, the letters interspersed throughout the story, the beautiful descriptions of the country and city, and the haunting atmosphere created within these pages. Thank you again @WilliamMorrow for the ARC! #summerreading2017

The characters in this book frustrated me and broke my heart all at the same time. An excellent read about the complicated dynamics of family relationships and grief. @litsybookclub will be discussing this live in an hour if you want to join us! #litsybookclub #summerreading2017

Geez, kids can be cruel. I learned that quickly at a very young age myself. This book reminded me of my own middle school years and the teens I work with now. I wish every kid can read this book and let it really sink in. I highly recommend this one to all middle school teachers as a class read aloud to discuss with your class family. The lessons that come from this book can be invaluable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #favoriteread2017 #summerreading2017

This book was absolutely beautiful, yet broke my heart in so many ways. I fell in love with the characters, and their stories of struggle to make a life in America crushed me. I didn't want this one to end. My favorite read of 2017 by far and such an important one in the midst of our political climate. #summerreading2017
