I hated & loved this book. Such an important read and that fact eats at me. When will things be different?
If you loved The Hate U give then you‘ll love this one. Similar theme. Similar emotions/ questions through the reading. I‘ve heard some rate one book over the other but I can‘t.Love them both for their own style of writing & storytelling. Either one or both, they are MUST READS and this one is definitely one of my #favoriteread2017 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

John Green did it again and I loved it! My only complaint, it was way too short!

Definitely bumped up to my #2 favorite John Green novel because through his writing I was able to get just a tiny glimpse of what those living with anxiety have to go through. Every. Single. Day. John Green helps ignorant people like me understand even if for just a tiny bit what people living with anxiety have to go through.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My #4 #favoriteread2017

I love this book. For my daughters growing up in this world, I absolutely love this book. Amy Poehler describes it best, “Moxie is a sweet, funny, and fierce exploration of how a few young women band together and start a movement.” My favorite line in the book describes my feelings after reading it, “it‘s an energy that is a revolutionary soul force made by girls for girls.” ✊🏻👊🏻MOXIE GIRLS FIGHT BACK! ✊🏻👊🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My #3 #favoriteread2017

I'm naturally a slow reader. But this time, I intentionally read this one at a snail's pace. I wanted to savor it, enjoy it for a long time because, if you know me well, you know I'm a sucker for a love story and this one gave me a Romeo & Juliette story of forbidden love.
I absolutely, positively love and adore magical realism and this story did not disappoint. I got lost in this story and now I'm sad there is no more to read. #favoriteread2017

Geez, kids can be cruel. I learned that quickly at a very young age myself. This book reminded me of my own middle school years and the teens I work with now. I wish every kid can read this book and let it really sink in. I highly recommend this one to all middle school teachers as a class read aloud to discuss with your class family. The lessons that come from this book can be invaluable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #favoriteread2017 #summerreading2017

Oh my goodness gracious queen of the story, Laini Taylor knows how to tell a great story!
If you love fantasy fiction with an intricate weave of a story with characters you fall in love with and have a story of their own you want, no NEED, to know their fate then you have to read this one.
This one is a long one but the story is worth it! Plus, it's written with a beautiful poetic pen.
