Wilson Bentley was fascinated by snow.He wanted to learn more and more about snow and why it looked the way it did. His parents supported his curiosity gifted him his own camera and microscope. Through much patience and determination, Wilson dove into photography.
I am not sure If my students would find this book relevant. I would use it in my classroom after the first snowfall. Students many enjoy this story if they are interested in art, photography, the outdoors, etc.

I have always enjoyed trying to look at snowflakes when they land on coats of gloves. This was a fascinating story about the first pictures of snowflakes. I really liked it and think it is great story about learning about the world around you.
