I can't remember exactly which character fits this best? I'm thinking of one who's sort of a scoundrel-I'm remember a drunken fight, perhaps with a gun? Perhaps José Arcadio, because he was also an insane one, so that fits too. #slipperypeople

After really enjoying The One Man last year, I had high hopes for this one! Set in WWII and mainly Norway, the book is actually a simple, fast paced read that relies on telling and never fully develops any of the characters... but the clandestine nature involves some #SlipperyPeople #Rocktober

Day 4 #UncannyOctober #Moon #Rocktober #SlipperyPeople Cara Lindstrom is a female mass/vigilante killer who has patterns that tie to the moon & Agent Matthew Roarke is the FBI agent who chases her in this (soon to be 5 book) series. Cara proves to be quite slippery in evading the authorities & Roarke, who has very conflicted feelings about her. The tagged book is the 1st & I just finished the #ARC of the 5th, out at the end of the month.🌖🌕😱📚

Magicians are #slipperypeople, if they‘re good at it. Houdini came to mind for this one. Of course, now I have memories of David Copperfield specials from my childhood.

I seem to be in Dickens Land for this photo challenge. But couldn‘t resist using the slimiest of slippery weasels - Uriah Heep. Dickens is on point with his nasty characters!

Frank Abagnale was a total slippery person. He slipped through cops and FBI's fingertips for years. Cashing bad checks. Passed himself off as a pilot, doctor, lawyer, and a teacher. All before he was 30!

I am loving my current read about Rosa the extremely slippery, manipulative and tough tartar mother in this book. I love this quote which sums her up as she confronts her weak husband about her daughter and granddaughter . Darkly funny im halfway through but it seemed a good excuse to post on this thread without physically hunting for a book.
