This was my #DoubleSpin for May. Nothing profound or thought-provoking. It felt like it was just the author's rambling thoughts put on paper and then organized into a book.

This book is a low pick for me. It's a somewhat random collection of thoughts on silence, some insightful and others that were less interesting. Either way, it has definitely made me appreciate silence more.
This might be a stretch, but I'm using this book for prompt 30, “Meowth: Treasure“ for #gottacatchemall, since the theme of the book is that silence is to be treasured, and we all know that “Silence is golden“! @PuddleJumper
Not all silences are forced upon,
Some silences are chosen.
When the horizons of understanding are widened with the thirst for deeper knowledge, silence does have a voice and a colour too. It is a vibrant symphony in itself. Keener eyes and sharper ears can see and hear all the tones of this otherwise invisible and inaudible silence.
This is my first published book. Back in 2019.

Good short book from Henri Nouwen on some of the practices of the desert fathers and the impact of solitude and silence especially when paired with prayer. Convicting in an encouraging way. Thoughtful and helpful as it pondered deeply and still had daily applications too.
