pickThis was a solid paranormal werewolf story with a very slow burn romance. The writing is not always the best, but I really liked the world the author created and the characters were fun. I look forward to continuing this story in the next book-not exactly a cliffhanger but the story is definitely not finished in this book. 3.5⭐️
so-soWas my curiosity piqued at the prospect of reading a shifter MM romance set in a zombie apocalypse? Absolutely! Werewolves and zombies - how awesome is that? I can't help thinking that it's the love child of Chuck Tingle and TJ Klune. Was it slightly cringe? 100%. Did I enjoy it? Yes, though the erotic scenes got so repetitive! It was fun, angsty, romantic. The beginning read more like a Wattpad story, but the writing improved as it went on.
I feel like Krychek getting a first name that's getting used in this book is pointing towards him being an eventual lead, whiiiiich I've kinda been hoping for. Gonna stop reading the backs of these so that I can be surprised!

so-soI started loosing interest at 50% because I found out this is an omegaverse story with little plot to it. This reminds me why I‘m not into werewolf romances. 3 times in the bedroom by 50%?? The plot hit stagnant till 85%, to which I was pleased again with the characters growth and discovery on how much they want to be together. I did like the characters, and felt they were both fleshed out in their worries about making this fake relationship real.
so-soBook 6 of 2024: I really wanted to like this book but I had a hard time getting into it. The plot and character is not bad but it's definitely fiction. I understand I am reading a paranormal/fantasy book but atleast it can be kinda believable. I could see how things were going to play out well before it ever happened. Very predictable. I did enjoy the one characters who was hysterical.

pickA sweet, short and sexy story about bear shifters. This was a freebie so wasn't sure if it would be good but I enjoyed it.
It's a short, fast build up to a little dramatic showdown. Ideal of you like a story quick to develop. Quite raunchy at times too.
pickI thought this was such a fun and quick read- I read it in a day! Two shifter doctors that agree to fake date so that Noah can get promoted and Mackenzie can avoid her grandmother‘s match making. It has all my favorite tropes:
Grumpy- sunshine
Workplace romance
Fake dating
Noah gets super possessive of her especially when other men are around and their scenes are SPICY. I‘m new to the Omegaverse but can‘t wait to read more!
