Time to take these back to library. All 5 are brilliant books to read to your little ones but I really enjoyed them myself. I wish there had been this much diversity in children's books 30 years ago, all of them made me jealous my son gets them during his childhood. #library #readtoyourkids

Pickpick

This book is strange. The illustrations and the theme make be think the target audience is preschool to 1st grade. The vocabulary and reading level are +4 grade. So who is the target audience? Cute, but is it accessible?

Eggs True! I‘ve read some of these and loved them, especially the art 🧡 3y

These poems take on new meaning when you know they are meant to be a balm that soothes the souls of children who witnessed the attacks on the Twin Towers from the windows of their Manhattan classrooms.
