Rewind It Back | Liz Tomforde

So happy to finally witnessing Rio find love. He deserved this so much. This was a sweet, heart warming book that fits perfectly into the Rio we already know. My only complaint is that I think we lose some of the playful, silly Rio through the lines. But perhaps, the book is just mostly showing his mature side. I would have loved more of sarcastic silly Rio though. Overall, a great read, 4 ⭐️

I may have liked this more if I read it instead of listening to it. The reader sounded too old for the FMC, and there was too much internal dialogue in the midst of conversations with others. Those things may not have bugged me if I read it. I do love the happy ending though!

Gracie says Momma read this one, it matches our blanket. It‘s a rainy yucky day here so the perfect time for snuggles and reading. #30of2025

I needed a palate cleanser after an upsetting read & this was exactly what I was hoping it would be…only sexier. Hell yeah! 🌶️ I have the same kind of aching wanderlust as the MC & the same sort of residual romantic trauma that I‘m sure so many of us do after being unceremoniously dumped by first loves. This second-chance romance was pure catharsis in an Amsterdam setting. Some of the conflict & resolution felt unrealistic but so it goes.

This was not even close to Lights Out.

Flat characters, disjointed story, yet lots of sometimes well-crafted spice.

It read as if the author had some spicy scenes and added a story to connect them.

IriDas Oh, those are the worst books. So disappointing. 😞 1mo

3.9⭐️ to be honest, I was a little disappointed in this one. I had so many expectations after Lights Out, and this one just didn‘t measure up for me. I think the only reason I continue to read it was because I was a little obsessed with Junior in book one. It was still good, just not quite what I expected.

Aconight Agreed! Lights Out set such a high standard that personally this one didn‘t match. Was still a fun read (edited) 2mo

This is absolutely the worst of this series oh my GOD. I found Cam to be insufferable, and if you‘d told me I‘d feel bad for a MAN right now?? I know Dusty‘s fictional but good lord he deserves better, even if he was starting to annoy me a little too.

I‘ll probably read another Lyla Sage book, but this was a bad ending to a decently entertaining series.

Gemma writes a romance book and the book/cover resembles her ex high school boyfriend who is now a famous hockey player. They strike up a fake relationship for publicity, but is it really fake?
