pickFinished this book earlier than expected. Got towards the end and just had to read on. Loved the whole story and Towles‘ writing is excellent. He captured the era of the 30‘s in New York so well that you could hear the jazz music in your mind while reading. Characters were well-drawn and so believable. The plot really held my interest and moved along quickly. A very engaging read that should not be missed!
