pickI enjoyed this book so much more than I thought I would. I just recently got into fantasy so I was worried this book was overhyped. I read it in two days because I couldn‘t put it down. I definitely plan to read the other books in the series because I have to find out what happens next.

The audio is really good too, 2 separate narrators, both are very animated & convey the characters well. Really digging the story so far.
panI wish I didn‘t read this. Honestly, this is the first and only book that I just started skimming toward the end.
It feels like most of the chapters are just filler. Nothing important happens in the entire book. I have no connection to any character. It just felt empty. I wouldn‘t recommend it. .5/5

pickOMG! I loved this book! It‘s like a dark fantasy romance, where you‘re rooting for villain of the story, but is he really a villain? I loved this world and the characters. I‘m so glad I read this.
Unbeknownst to me this is a spin off of her Kingdom of the Wicked series which I‘ve never read. It looks like it has characters from that world, but can be read as a standalone. It hinted at some stuff that happened, but explained enough to not be lost
pick4.8 ⭐️ well damn… I like that a lot better than I thought would. But seriously, what is up with all these cliffhangers. Mind you, this one‘s not as bad as some of the others have been as of late. Anyways, this is a great book. Definitely got some action, some minor romance, and like one spicy scene. But the betrayal… wow, little intense.
pickA little bit torn on the conclusion to the series… the extra POVs that were added in Game of Gods join Hades x Persephone here…
With the series St Clair did really well with incorporating the source material, making it modern & adding so much spice without being (too) redundant. But if you are going to give a villain POV.. IMO there should be something that you aren‘t getting from the protags-the other side of the story.
panI listened to the audiobook of this book. I didn't care for the characters at all. I felt like the book was too long. I rated this book a 2 out of 5 stars.
